2022-2023 Nissan Rogue owners have reported a gas smell inside cabin and outside of car.
Owners have reported taking their Nissan Rogue to the dealership, where they have been told them that Nissan is aware of the issue and that the Rogue is under Engineering Review. Their Nissan dealership has informed the owner that they are checking for gas leaks to make sure there was no safety problem, but that there was nothing else to do until Nissan issues a recall or figures out a fix for wherever the gas is leaking.
One owner was told that the dealership had to be able to visually see a leak and not just smell gasoline for them to do more. Owners have contacted the national Nissan telephone number and are waiting to be called back. They are not sure what next steps should be and are asking other owners if they have had any success with their dealership.
If you own a 2022 or 2023 Nissan Rogue and are experiencing a gas odor, you may be entitled to make a claim for monetary damages, but your legal rights have time deadlines.
